11-hectare park in the centre of Nuwara Eliya with the Nanu Oya stream running through it. It began as a research field of Hakgala Botanical Garden and was named in 1897 for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Known for its flowerbeds and for birding.

Birders should arrive at opening and walk the quieter back paths along the stream. The park closes in the early evening.
