Parrot Rock is the small rocky islet just off the middle of Mirissa Beach. A few rough steps lead to the top in about 15 minutes, with a view along the bay and across to Coconut Tree Hill. The small bay beside it has gentle waves for beginner surfers.

Tips

Only climb at low tide. At high tide the rocks are slippery, waves wash over the path and there is no lifeguard.
